Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:00 - 19:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: CBSPD or CRCST preferred Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: Experience with Medivator systems. Experience in decontamination, assembly of instruments, sterilization processes, high-level disinfection, and sterile storage. Experience as an OR Liaison. Experience with Censitrac tracking systems. Description: We are seeking candidates experienced in all areas of sterile processing. Candidates should have expertise in the decontamination of instruments, including drills, robotic systems, and scopes. Experience in the assembly of instruments across various service lines is required, including trauma and surgical loaners. Candidates must be familiar with both steam and Sterrad sterilization processes. High-level disinfection (HLD) experience is essential. Candidates should have a solid understanding of sterile storage protocols and experience as a liaison in the operating room. Knowledge of the Censitrac tracking system is required. Medivator experience is mandatory. Candidates must be eligible to work in an urgent and busy environment. All candidates should be prepared for compliance requirements following contract signing. Two professional references are required with submissions. Candidates must complete the necessary licensing and credentialing processes as part of the application.
