This is a high-trust role. You’ll be expected to own meaningful product work, step in when things are unclear or blocked, and help ensure we’re building the right things—not just designing them well.You’ll own and design complex product areas end-to-end, while also acting as a close partner to the Head of Design - helping drive decisions, unblock teams, and maintain momentum when needed. This is a hands-on role. You’ll be expected to do deep product work yourself, while also raising the bar across the team through critique, direction, and strong product thinking.This role will be in-office 4 days a week.What You'll DoDesign and ship complex, high-impact features from concept to productionAct as a hands-on IC while helping guide overall design qualityPartner with Product and Engineering to shape what we build—not just how it looksReview and critique work, pushing for clarity, simplicity, and strong executionAlign stakeholders and drive decisions, especially in ambiguous or fast-moving situationsWork closely with engineers to ensure high-quality, pragmatic implementationContribute to and evolve the design systemWhat we are looking for:6+ years of product design experienceStrong track record of shipping complex B2B productsExperience guiding or mentoring other designers’ workAbility to make strong product and design decisions with incomplete informationComfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environmentsHigh attention to detail and ability to produce clear, implementation-ready designsNice to HaveNice to HaveFintech or payments experienceExperience with data-heavy or workflow-driven productsDesign systems experienceFamiliarity with frontend constraints or code-based prototyping tools$170,000 - $245,000 a year-----------------------------------------Finix is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries at our headquarters in San Francisco, California.
